5 lung ventilators to help COVID-19 patients
"Santa Bremor" provided 5 lung ventilators to medical institutions of Brest in June and August. The equipment is installed in the Brest Regional Clinical Hospital and the Brest City Hospital No. 1.
Lung ventilators were produced by German and Swiss companies. The equipment is fitted with artificial intelligence: it selects the program based on vitals of the patient. With these devices, medical specialists can help patients with COVID-19 even in most severe cases.
"Santa Bremor" adheres to the principle of social responsibility in its work. Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have supported medical institutions. If the need arises, we will continue this work," says Sergey Nedbailov, Director of JV "Santa Bremor LLC".
Since March 2020, the company has allocated about 700,000 Belarusian rubles for support of medical institutions. In addition to lung ventilators, individual protection means were procured for hospitals and polyclinics of Brest. Total amount of aid provided by "Santa" Group enterprises to medical institutions in the course of the coronavirus pandemic exceeds 2,000,000 Belarusian rubles.
Measures for prevention of infectious diseases have been enhanced at the enterprise. Thermal camera is installed at the guard desk, which analyzes body temperature and automatically identifies elevated values. Employees are provided with all necessary individual protection means and sanitizers.
"We follow the recommendations of the World Health Organization in order to ensure safety of our employees, partners and consumers. Our company as a manufacturer of food products has always paid increased attention to compliance with sanitary and hygienic norms. In light of the pandemic, additional measures were taken; however, we weren't forced to introduce significant corrections in the work of the company due to what had been done before," says Sergey Nedbailov.
